Paul Marx came to our workshop with his burned 1976 Laverda 750 SFC and some spare parts he managed to find so far. Sad sight but after starting to disassemble the engine, the situation looks less serious than it appeared at first sight.
Our copy of the Laverda V6 book arrived today. Actually, a gift from Piero Laverda as Renato participated to the translation of the book. Hurry up if you want to get yours! Apparently there are not much left anymore, in particular the Deluxe Limited Edition. You can order them here : https://orangedition.com/
Stéphane's 1971 Laverda 750 SF (Virage8) is a restoration project for 2017. Not all the details have been discussed with Stéphane yet, but it will be a full restoration with some meaningful improvements like clutch leverage, LH gear shift, reworked heads with among others our copper alloy valve guides (for unleaded fuel), etc.
Ride along with Mike Hailwood at Spa Francorchamps. Mike reflects on his racing experiences in an interview at the Belgium Motorcycle GP in 1964. "Mike The Bike" was not just the dominant motorcycle racer of the 60s, but is seen by many as the most talented motorcycle rider ever. Awesome video.
This beautiful and fully preserved (never restored) Laverda 1000 3CL is for sale. We are happy to confirm the presence of Piero Laverda and his awesome LAVERDA V6 at the 2015 International Motor Show which will take place on November 20 - 21 - 22 in Luxembourg. At this occasion the Moto Officina stand will be 100% Laverda with some cool orange machines and, of course, most of our Laverda special parts. www.euro-racing-show.com
Meanwhile in Japan, Kenichiro, from KTR in Osaka, just sent us some pictures and a short video of his awesome Laverda 1000 RGS he fitted with a Moto Officina 3 into 1 performance exhaust. Bellissima ;-)
The story of hills race told by Giovanni Burlando: 75 years old and about 850 contests raced with some of the best racers in the world such as Agostini and Pasolini. And then his workshop and his motorbikes: Ducati 250, Benelli 250, Aletta 125 and Motobi 250, each of them fixed by himself alone. Riding on the Doria-Creto path he tells about prizes, contests and his overwhelming passion for motorbikes. Great rider and a very nice video realized by Ugo Roffi.
