Moto Officina Smiths/Laverda replica tachometer : this are the rev-counters we mount on our 750 SFC Replicas. As the genuine Smiths instruments for Laverda are hard to find and quite fragile, we decided to reproduce them. Our Smiths/Laverda replaces the original rev counter but has the advantage of being electronic (it takes the impulse on the coil) and is completely waterproof.

Latest "barn found", a very nice Gilera Saturno 500 single. Although we have not clearly identified the year and the model, it should be a post 1952 model as it is already fitted with rear dual shocks. The early Gilera Saturno has been produced from 1946 to 1958 with various upgrades and mainly in 4 versions : "Turismo", "Sport", "Competizione" and "Corsa". A dual sport version also appeared in 1953 as well as some models fitted with a 600 cc engine intended to be used with a sidecar. The production of the Saturno stopped in 1958. In 1987 Gilera reused the name with the Saturno 500 bialbero, a sport fitted with a liquid cooled 4 valves 500 cc single engine. The production of this early version of the Saturno ceased in 1991.
1955 Moto Guzzi Ercole. Nicely preserved and perfectly functioning, this awesome transport motorcycle is ready to be delivered in Austria.

It had a quite high payload of 1500 kg and was powered by the 500 cc Falcone air cooled single engine fitted with a five forward and one reverse gears and an additional transmission behind the gearbox.
Our friend Thomas entrusted us his Laverda RGS 1000 Corsa in order to be "refreshed". Article on one of our Laverda 750 SFC replica from Jean-Louis Basset
Forza Gianluigi !!!
Marco's 1975 Laverda 1000 3C nearly ready to hit the road.
The first Laverda 1,000cc prototype was first shown in 1969 but the final design was revealed at the Milano Motorshow in 1971. in the period 1972 – 1973 the first 200 bikes were built in the old Laverda factory. End of 1973 the new facility was finished and the production of an improved version of the triple could start. The main visible differences with the first series were the replacement of the front drum brakes with modern and more effective Brembo disk brakes.
There are certainly sexier and faster Italian or Japanese motorcycles from that period. But there isn’t a player on the classic bikes scene with the 850T’s handling, tractable engine power and versatility. From long distance tourer to all-out sport bike, the 850T could do it all. A supremely comfortable and enjoyable bike and a perfect choice for cool long rides. The 850T weighs 255 kg (562 lbs wet) and is powered by an 844 cc V2 four-stroke 5 speed engine delivering 55 HP at 6100 RPM in unmodified form. It originally could reach 180 km/h (112mph).

The ability to combine performance, comfort, reliability at a very affordable price made of the famous Honda "Four" one of the most successful bikes of the 70s.
The flow bench is a quite fastidious and time consuming step but essential in order to obtain an optimal air flow rate and speed through cylinder ducts and head. The results given by the flow bench will also help to define the appropriate valves configuration and diameters. The pictures show Angelo working on a Laverda triple "Diecimila" race bike cylinder head.

Perfectly preserved 1970 Moto Guzzi V7 Special. The current owner purchased it in 1973 and we performed a complete technical makeover 7 years ago.
Designed by Giulio Carcano, the V7 was first introduced in 1965 and its engine had a displacement of 703 cc. Due to its military origins the Guzzi v-twin was simple and easy to maintain. Accessibility is outstanding and the shaft-drive transmission, another military requirement, provided a nearly maintenance-free functioning. Introduced with a 703 cc displacement engine, this particular one is already fitted with the upgraded 757 cc engine. Indeed, in the years, the v-twin would undergo other enlargements up to 1000 cc.

Article on Renato's Laverda 750 SF in the French magazine MOTO JOURNAL. His 1972 Laverda 750 SF has been restored 5 years ago and is regularly used for short journeys. The Laverda 750 SF twin is known as an extremely reliable well-built bike equipped with the finest components of this time.

Moto Officina Laverda 750 SFC Elettronica carter replica under construction. As it is nearly impossible to find original SFC Elettronica primary chaincase carters or even copies of an acceptable quality we rebuild them. Our carter fits all the 750 SF engines for an elettronica conversion or can also replace the cover of an original '75 to '77 SFC.
The original Laverda parts were casted but to ensure higher quality and reduce production costs we manufacture them from billet. The finished product will have the same aspect as the original part but it can also be polished or coated in various colors.
Laverda 1000 Jota at the Isle Of Man Classic TT fitted with a Moto Officina 3 into 1 performance exhaust line.
Made in 1 mm stainless steel the full line for Laverda triple only weights 3.8 kg. Our exhausts are delivered ready to mount with all necessary gaskets, cooling rings, bolts, etc.
Jean-Louis Basset shot some nice pictures of our Laverda 1200 "Diecimila" during a ride in the Spilimbergo region.
The "Diecimila" engine is the only known Laverda triple able to take 10.000 rpm while remaining perfectly reliable. This particular street version has a 180° engine and keeps the original Laverda connecting rods and crankshaft. However, for this type of engine we usually mount our forged steel performance connecting rods and modified crankshaft, in particular if it's for race applications.
